Signing as President of the Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he appoints one John Walker to be CORONER of the County of Cumberland.  Countersigned by James Trimble for J. Armstrong, Jr. Secretary.

A large and bold Franklin signature, not affected by any of the folds.  Four-inch closed tear to lower left quadrant; reinforced folds and toning; some washing to some ink, but not to Franklin’s signature.
