Harding, Warren G. Campaign Biography, Signed
Chapple, Harding’s Friend, Joined him on his Fatal 1923 Western Trip
Hours: Tues - Sat
Warren Harding signature in campaign biography by President Harding’s friend, Joe Mitchell Chapple. Chapple would later accompany the President on his fatal Western trip in 1923.
“Harding was not a collector of books, and thus volumes containing his signature are extremely rare. Most Presidential book collections I have seen lack a volume signed by Harding. Of the twentieth-century Presidents, without question I would consider him to be the most difficult to obtain in signed books.” –Koschal, Collecting Books and Pamphlets Signed by the Presidents of the United States, p39.
Harding’s signature in signed books is excessively scarce.
