Harvey Lee Ross’  Lincoln’s First Years in Illinois, Signed by journalist, Lincoln biographer, and publisher, Rufus Rockwell Wilson.

Rufus Rockwell Wilson reprinted these recollections of Harvey Ross, who knew Lincoln as a boy. Ross originally published his recollection in 1896 in the “Fulton Democrat” of Lewistown, Illinois.

The work contains much of Lincoln in New Salem. Wilson wrote for many newspapers before retiring to his home town of Elmira, New York, and opening Primavera Press. His works on Lincoln include Lincoln in Caricature and Intimate Memories of Lincoln.

Limited edition #13 of 550, signed on limitation page.

Excellent condition in original protective glassine. An uncommon work, scarce in this condition.
