Description

Calvin Coolidge typed letter, signed in full with an autograph postscript.

Coolidge declines an invitation to speak, “I have already made more engagements than I should for this month….”

In an ink postscript he adds, “I have to be at Minnesota State Fair Sept. 6” – presumably the date he was asked to speak.

Coolidge, Calvin. Typed Letter, signed in full with an Autograph Postscript. The Vice-President’s Chamber, Washington: 26 August 1922. 4to.; 1p. To E. A. Deeds, American Legion, Dayton, Ohio.
