Reserve ItemDescription
Margaret Mitchell signs and inscribes a copy of Gone With the Wind. Inscribed on the front flyleaf, “To Carl from Peggy / Christmas 1936.” Includes a bookplate of Carl E. Wahlstrom (who was Judge in Worcester, MA and a major collector of Lincolnian; donated to Endicott College, it was deaccessioned and this shop purchased most of it back in the 1980s).
Mitchell and Wahlstrom were undoubtedly friends for him to receive a personal inscription signed “Peggy.”
Very good and still solid; no D.J.; ex-library markings, including on the spine; lt. rubbing).
