Tabloid Gold! Lincoln’s Paternity Questioned!
J. C. Coggins’ Abraham Lincoln a North Carolinian questions Lincoln’s paternity.
J. C. Coggins’ Abraham Lincoln A North Carolinian took advantage of an early twentieth century fascination with Abraham Lincoln’s supposed legitimacy.
The author calls it “A True and Thrilling Story never before published; told by a third cousin of Abraham Lincoln Who is in Closer Touch With the original sources of information than any one who has ever written on the question of Mr. Lincoln’s origin, and the only living man who knows the name of Nancy Hanks’ father.”
This is the original edition of the first book to claim Abraham Enloe as Lincoln’s father. The first edition of this work is quite scarce.
Light shelf wear, otherwise uncommonly nice and bright; Very good.
