The June, 1795 issue of The Ladies Magazine, or “Entertaining Companion for the Fair Sex, appropriated foley (sic) to their Ufe (sic) and Amufement (sic).” This issue included 21 stories, including a biographical sketch of George Washington. It also included a pattern that is not included. 

The biography of George Washington was written in his lifetime. It includes a profile view of Washington “Engraved for the Ladie’s (sic) Mag.”. Washington’s 4-1/2-page, double column biographical “Sketch” is the feature article.

Excellent; lt. foxing; spine carefully stiffened with preservation tape.
