This bronze casting captures TR’s passion as a campaign speaker. The bottom on the casting features a quote that is often attributed to TR. “Aggressive fighting for the right is the noblest sport the world affords.”
Miserendino was an Italian-American sculptor. He created statues and busts of famous Americans and other notables, including several of Theodore Roosevelt and Christopher Columbus. He created statues and busts on commission, including one of publisher Adolph Ochs, which is displayed in the lobby of the New York Times. His Christopher Columbus is in Reading Park, NYC.
