Times Limits Reserved Items “On Reserve” Books will be held for one week; other items will be held for two business days. 

Items labeled “Buy This Item” are eligible for immediate shipping. Items up to $500 generally the buyer selects their shipping choice during when they check out at the web site. You may choose the insure your item then. We are not liable for damages or non-delivery for uninsured losses of this nature. Although we can assist, the claims process is the buyers responsibility. The buyer must request this assistance with 30 days of the parcel’s arrival.

Items between $500 and $1000 generally ship for $25, individually.  This is for UPS Ground Service, to the contiguous 48 states. Because we have such divergent items, sometimes they must ship separately.  As well, often they can be packed together.  If the estimated shipping charge is more than the actual shipping charge, we might ask for additional payment. We do partially refund shipping charges if your item (s) shipping charge is less than the amount charged. We generally recommend insurance for items. In the event of a loss, we can assist, however, the claims process is the buyers responsibility. The buyer must request this assistance with 30 days of shipment. If you elect for your item to ship uninsured, we are not liable for damages, shortages, or non-delivery for uninsured losses of this nature. 

Items labeled “Reserve This Item” have special shipping requirements.  The item will be reserved for you.  Please include your contact information so we can get back in touch to talk about your payment, shipping and insurance options.

If you are a customer of record who receives a bill or are paying with a Gift Certificate, please call the book shop to place your order, 312/944-3085.

Missing items or Shortages must be reported to us within 5 business days. All items are returnable.  You must notify the book shop within five business days of delivery.  Items must be returned the same condition as sent, and with all components.  When returning items, please use the same shipping company and the same terms we used to get the item to you. You must insure the item for the total price paid-including any shipping, packing, insurance or other charges. Unless prior arrangements are made, shipping and insurance charges for returns are at the buyer’s expense.

All items are guaranteed to be as described and original for the life of purchaser. If you would like a Letter of Authenticity please request it at the time of purchase.

Typographical errors do occur; we are only human.  We reserve the right to make mistakes and are not responsible for typographical errors.
