Regular Polices and Terms

All items are subject to prior sale.  

Placing an item “On Hold” Books will be held for one week; other items will be held for two business days. 

Items labeled “Buy This Item” are eligible for immediate shipping.

Items up to $500 generally ship with our usual shipping policy, $9 for the first item, $1.50 for each additional item; going to the same address.  This is for Priority Mail, to the contiguous 48 states.  Insurance is the buyers responsibility. Please call if you would like your item insured.   

Items between $500 and $1000 generally ship for $25, individually.  This is for UPS Ground Service, to the contiguous 48 states.  Generally, this provides up to $1,000 insurance.  Because we have such divergent items, sometimes they must ship separately.  As well, often they can be packed together.  If the estimated shipping charge is more than the actual shipping charge, we might ask for additional payment. We do partially refund shipping charges if your item (s) shipping charge is less than the amount charged.

Items labeled “Reserve This Item” have special shipping requirements.  The item will be reserved for you.  Please include your contact information so we can get back in touch to talk about your payment, shipping and insurance options.

If you have other shipping needs, want insurance, expedited shipping, are shipping to a foreign address  please check out using the Special Shipping option on the shopping cart.  This will allow you to complete your sale.  We will be in touch shortly to help with your needs.  Remember to include your contact information.  Please call the shop on 312/944-3085 if you have questions.

If you are a customer of record who receives a bill or are paying with a Gift Certificate, please call the book shop to place your order, 312/944-3085.

All items are returnable if we are notified within five business days of delivery.  Items must be returned the same condition as sent, and with all components.  When returning items, please use the same shipping company and the same terms we used to get the item to you. If your item was insured, you must insure it when returning. Unless prior arrangements are made, shipping and insurance charges for returns are at the buyer’s expense.

All items are guaranteed to be as described and original for the life of the item. If you would like a Letter of Authenticity please request it at the time of purchase.

Typographical Errors Do Occur; we are only human.  We reserve the right to make mistakes and are not responsible for typographical errors.
