A Concise Biography

Description

Senator George McGovern contributed the volume Abraham Lincoln to the Times Books series, The American Presidents.

McGovern provides a concise and reliable view of Lincoln’s life. However, the book is extra interesting as the biography of Lincoln written by the person who himself got closer to the Oval Office than any other Lincoln writer. McGovern was the Democratic candidate for the presidency in 1972.

Light wear to the dust jacket; else very good. Signed.
