This patriotic broadside from the Civil War celebrates the achievements of General W. T. Sherman’s armies, in song.

This large 11″ x 17″broadside features six patriotic vignettes, including a large 6″ x 3″ one at top showing troops marching into battle with shells exploding. Smaller vignettes include firing cannons and globes floating on the ocean, each with U.S. banners waving. Includes ornate borders and content such as Root’s Tramp, Tramp, Tramp! or Sherman and His Boys in Blue, and The Private in Our Army.

One vertical fold from top to bottom; three horizontal folds.  Lightly chipped at extremities with minor loss at top-center and right corners; light foxing; minor creasing. Else very good.

Very attractive. A nice exhibit item.
