Description

Offering a, 1860 campaign ferrotype charm. The front features Abraham Lincoln, the back, Hannibal Hamlin.  Lincoln’s image is the Cooper Union pose, taken by Mathew Brady which, according to Lincoln, helped elect him President. 

Glossy surfaces with both portraits in sharp focus and bold contrast; very minor dark mark at the top right margin of Hamlin’s portrait; lt. crazing on both. 

A truly charming campaign piece and one of only a couple that we’ve seen on the market.
