Leo Nock, Abraham Lincoln Bronze Bas Relief Plaque

Offering a bronze bas relief plaque of Abraham Lincoln by Leo Nock.The plaque is based on Anthony Berger’s photograph O-89. The photograph was taken at Brady’s Washington gallery on 7 February 1864.

Leo Nock was born in Birmingham, England in 1873. He eventually immigrated to America. He is most known for American portrait sculpture (we have previously offered his Lincoln bust), animals and Western themes. 

Signed “Leo Nock SC. / Copy 1914. It is 6 1/2” in diameter; with medal hanging loop at top. 

Rich, dark, even patina; in excellent condition; we note no flaws at all.
