The ad for Lincoln’s law firm is below the fold. Nearby are other ads for other lawyers, including S. M. Cullom who studied law with Lincoln and later served as Governor and a long-serving U.S. Senator from Illinois. There is gossip from England about Tennyson being ill from eating to much opium; other ads include a saddle and harness manufacturer, homeopathic medicines and practitioners, pickles, figs, spices, wine, and cheese. Everything a frontier family could want and more!
