Description
This is a rare variant of Alexander Gardner’s photograph taken on 9 August 1863. We see Lincoln in full, hands folded and legs crossed; he sits by the often-seen round, marble top table Gardner’s studio. The same photo appears on the Lincoln and Tad photograph, O-114, taken on February 5, 1865.
Very good, corners clipped.
