Description
Offering a U. S. Grant signature, with a contemporary photograph of Grant leaning against a tree. The original photo was taken by Mathew Brady at Cold Harbor, in June of 1864.
A solid U.S. Grant signature; that appears to have been clipped from a revenue department document.
The photo and signature are in a bright white mat, with a navy blue backing. The brass plaque reads GENERAL U.S. GRANT / 18th PRESIDENT 1869 – 1877 / 1822-1885 N Y., N Y.
