Description

This scarce, annotated biography was written by a personal friend, congressional supporter, and early biographer of Lincoln.  Arnold was a Republican congressman, abolitionist, and strong Lincoln loyalist.  He was the last person to see the President before Lincoln left for Ford’s Theater!

A handsome presentation of a title valuable for it’s first-hand views of the Lincoln Administration.
