Offering a cased tintype of a soldier, this one features a intricate mat featuring two flags, a spread eagle, and a cannon. The border below reads “E. Pluribus Unum” The soldier is seated, his rifle on his back in the sling carry. Exterior of case features a U.S. flag, alighting eagle and artillery. 

Very Good; solid tonality to image, neatly applied metallic hand painting; debossed velvet is loose, very detailed and coppery mat.
