Biography of a Controversial Frontier Fighter

Description
Reginald S. Craig worked to try to revive the reputation of a controversial Indian fighter with The Fighting Parson: Biography of Colonel John M. Chivington.
Colonel Chivington achieved equal parts celebration and infamy for his Civil War record, which included a hard-fought victory over Confederates at Glorieta Pass and the massacre of Black Kettle’s band of Cheyenne at Sand Creek.
While Chivington remains controversial Craig’s biography puts forth much valuable information on the Civil War on the far western frontier.
Near fine condition a wonderfully designed dust jacket in near fine condition. Signed.
