Two Cartes de Visite of the Executive Mansion during Lincoln’s era. The two combines show each side of the building, from Constitution Avenue and from Pennsylvania Avenue. On the east side, the Jefferson statue is clear, with a woman standing still perhaps in a mourning dress for Lincoln.
