Description
William H. Harrison, as ADC to “Mad” Anthony Wayne, submits an order to the quarter master to “issue 7 fourteen rations of whiskey.” This was probably during the reinforcement of Fort Recovery, a few months prior to the Battle of Fallen Timbers.
Endorsement on verso reads “No. 65 / Wm. H. Harrison /7 gills Whiskey / 4 June 1794.”
Very Good, small punch hole, irregular edges. Signature is bold.
Harrison, William H. Autograph Provision Return, signed “Wm. H. Harrison / ADC. 4 June 1704. Encased in mylar and mounted in a covered mat. 6 3/8″ x 2 5/8″‘ overall 8 1/4” x 12.
