The First served in the major campaigns of the Army of the Potomac, and had the highest battle mortality of any Union cavalry regiment.  Includes a detailed roster.

A superb unit history, and very hard to find in first edition. 

In leather binding with marbled end pages & edges; tear at the head of the spine; light edgewear at foot of spine & upper corners; else very good; tight & bright.
