Description
This edition of James Willert’s Little Big Horn Diary: Chronicle of the 1876 Indian War is part of the Custer Trails Series, Volume Six.
James Willert spent years compiling this detailed day-by-day history of the Custer campaign in diary form and had it illustrated by Warren A. Van Ess. This second printing of the new edition includes a supplement with errata and a critical bibliography. Willert’s revisions from his original work are influenced by the 1983 fire at the battlefield and the subsequent archaeological studies.
A beautiful work in large format, and an important contribution to Custeriana. As new.
