Battle for Missouri!

Description

Holcomb and Adams produced An Account of the Battle of Wilson Creek for an 1883 reunion of participants of the battle in Springfield, Missouri.

This short book is remarkable in its detail and thoroughness in explaining the battle. The authors had access to veterans who supplied accounts and documents. Since Wilson’s Creek was a comparatively small battle, they provide detailed accounts of the service of each unit in the battle.

Ex-library copy from New Jersey Historical Society, with stickers on spine and end page; lightly rubbed and sunned; else very good.
