Abraham Lincoln Campaign Cover, Postally Used

Description

This Lincoln Campaign cover features a split rail fence, a flat boat traveling on a river, and what appears to be a drawing of Lincoln photo O-27. It is postally and bears a 3¢, Red Washington stamp. The CDS appears to read “June 2 1865.” It is addressed to”Lucious Babor, Esq” in Hartford Connecticut.

Rather rough, with tear across the front; soiling, and pencil marks on verso; interior of envelope has cardboard stiffener.
