Description
James Willert’s Little Big Horn Diary: A Chronicle of the 1876 Indian War is an essential work on the Battle of little Big Horn, and part of the Custer Trails Series, Volume VI.
Willert spent years compiling this detailed day-by-day history of the Custer campaign in diary form and had it illustrated by Warren A. Van Ess. This second printing of the new edition includes a supplement with errata and a critical bibliography. Willert’s revisions from his original work are influenced by the 1983 fire at the battlefield and the subsequent archaeological studies.
A beautiful work in large format, and an important contribution to Custeriana. As new condition.
