Description

Alexander Hamilton, as 1st Secretary of the Treasury, Signature on a Document fragment.

Thanks to Ron Chernow and Lin Manuel Miranda, Alexander Hamilton needs no introduction. The Burr–Hamilton duel is one of the most famous personal conflicts in American history. Hamilton lost his life, and Burr was indicted for murder, and lost his political career, never serving office again.

Age-toned, with edge soiling and adhesive remnant, else excellent.

Hamilton, Alexander. Autograph Signature as Secretary of the Treasury clipped from a document; 3 1/2″ x 2″ (approx). Includes contemporary steel engraving, 9″ x 6″.
