Abraham Lincoln, Mourning Ribbon

Description

This Abraham Lincoln Mourning Ribbon features Lincoln image O-93 (the “Father Abraham photo), in a brass, crimped matte. It is adhered to a thick fabric swatch, perhaps wool with a chevron pattern, and includes a black straight pin. We are unsure if the pin is of the day, as sometimes the pins from that era have a round, glass ball-style head.  This pin has a metal head, more common to our era. However both head styles are part of Victorian mourning tradition. 

Very good. Brighter and more sturdy than usual.
